In order to mark the Expedia.ca’s 15th Anniversary in Canada, Veritas engaged media, influencers and consumers alike with a look back at some of the brand’s major milestones and achievements, while thanking their supporters for their years of loyalty. This engagement created brand ambassadors who supported the brand and helped spread awareness of the company’s achievements to-date.
A “time flies” infographic was created to spotlight 15 key milestones achieved by Expedia.ca since 2000, while the team also leveraged the past and present results of the website’s annual Vacation Deprivation survey. Taking it to a new level, Vacation Education focused on sharing the stories of three pairs of vacation-deprived Canadians via heartwarming video content as they learned the importance and value of taking a much-deserved vacation.
Custom-loaded iPads were shared with media and influencers, featuring content and materials, along with the Expedia.ca mobile app. Spokespeople were leveraged to achieve over 27MM traditional media impressions.
