REPORTS TO: M&P Lead

 

Objective
The driving force behind Meat & Produce is creating a new and collaborative way to meet with our teams, our clients and our influencer partners in order to co-produce impactful ideas, experiences and content. Our approach will pave a new path to connecting with our consumers by giving the people who know our brands and our audiences best a voice at every step of the way. Collaboration and a ‘maker’ culture is at the heart of everything that we do – this requires an ability to inspire others to bring the best out of each one of our team members and partners.

As the Creative Conceptor, you will lead our team in developing breakthrough ideas that tell our brand stories through multiple touchpoints and below-the-line channels including but not limited to digital, social, experiential.   The heart of this role is ideas and the ability to bring them to life creatively and strategically in a way that captures the attention of our clients as well as our target audience.  Ideas shape the conversations we create through each of our products. You make sure that each conversation helps our clients get what they need from us. To do this requires a deep and consistently updated knowledge of the creative landscape and a strategic understanding of how we can help drive our clients’ business forward.

Responsibilities

  • You are our key ideas person and inventor of the unknown. You are competitive and collaborative with the other agency partners at the table.  You thrive through integration.
  • Reinventing the ‘maker’ culture that leverages your talent for coming up with breakthrough ideas in record time, and engaging influencers, team, freelancers and clients in brainstorms to get there.
  • Writing ideas in a way that brings them to life through words, finding the best ways to shape a conversation so that it helps our clients to do what matters most to them
  • You are happiest when you are visualizing your idea through video, social, events and provocative social content. You may even be the lead producer on shoots because you are truly a unicorn and not only ignite ideas but know how to bring them to life in execution.
  • Demonstrate to your colleagues how content and experiences can integrate, impact and improve our client offerings
  • Work closely with Executive Leadership to become a subject matter expert on what we’re offering, helping to promote the team and services internally and externally
  • Support on agency education/training for new processes, ideation and proactively identifying opportunities
  • Mentor junior staff to increase understanding of the digital landscape, improve copywriting abilities and design knowledge
  • Lead agency brainstorms and ideation sessions for existing client content opportunities
  • Lead creative development for new business opportunities including writing ideas and visually illustrating concepts for presentations
  • Lead the team in developing concepts for content and experiences that will make an impact in the real world
  • Leverage your understanding of the digital landscape to map out the content journey across relevant channels in a meaningful way
  • Demonstrate an ability to describe technical processes simply and to distill a lot of information into a few clear client-friendly statements
  • Manages team through plan development and execution to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
  • Writing ideas in a way that brings them to life through words, finding the best ways to shape a conversation so that it helps our clients to do what matters most to them

Qualifications

  • 5 – 7+ years of experience in a below-the-line content creation agency
  • An ability to bring a vision to life by shaping experiences and content to fit the brand goals and objectives
  • Knowledge of the design principles for art direction from graphic design to presentations to photo or video content
  • A capacity for strategic thinking rooted in insights
  • An ability to think abstractly about content as a system of information and customer touch points and how to connect ideas to provide a consistent and integrated message to the audience
  • Knowledge of the common digital channels and best practices for content creation across each
  • An understanding of how to measure content results and apply learnings to optimize future content
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and writing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about the challenge at hand
  • Successfully manages team and ensures projects are on strategy by providing clear direction and guidance
  • Insatiable curiosity and a need to ask questions
  • An eagerness to collaborate with colleagues, both from other disciplines and your own
  • The ability to manage your workload and multiple projects/commitments within given timelines and budgets
  • College or University degree preferably in marketing, design or related industries
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office suite
